PL A-VENTURE Website Terms of Use

1. Operators, Acceptance and Scope

This website is principally operated and administered by PL A-VENTURE 株式会社 in Japan. Certain content, forms or services are provided or handled by its affiliated Hong Kong company, PL A-VENTURE LIMITED. They are referred to, as applicable, as “PL A-VENTURE”, “we”, “us” or “our”. By browsing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. These Terms govern general website use and do not replace specific terms for a service, booking, payment or product transaction.

2. Service Entity and Specific Terms

• Equipment Rental and Gear Storage in Japan are generally provided and handled by PL A-VENTURE 株式会社.
• Indoor Lessons currently conducted at Guangzhou Sunac Snow World and Shenzhen Huafa Snow World are generally booked and paid through PL A-VENTURE LIMITED in Hong Kong. We do not currently provide lessons in Japan.
• The contracting entity for a Camp, Event, collaboration or other service is identified on its page, payment document or written confirmation.
• Physical-product orders through the Shopify store are handled by PL A-VENTURE LIMITED under the store terms and policies.

If these Terms conflict with specific terms on the same matter, the specific terms prevail. Displayed dates, times, prices, inventory or places are not reserved or confirmed until the applicable process is completed and written confirmation is issued.

3. Information and Content

We take reasonable steps to update the website, but information about products, services, snow, transport, venues, prices, inventory, availability and third parties may change. Unless confirmed in writing as part of a transaction, website content is general information only, is not professional, medical, insurance, legal or safety advice, and is not a guarantee or binding offer. We may correct clear errors, omissions or outdated information. An existing booking or transaction remains governed by its confirmation and applicable terms.

4. Forms, Enquiries and Account Information

You must ensure submitted contact, participant, equipment, accommodation, health, payment and other information is accurate, complete and authorised. Submitting a form, enquiry or application does not mean acceptance; a booking or transaction is formed only after written confirmation by the specified company. Keep any login credentials and devices secure and notify us of unauthorised use. Personal data is handled under the Website Privacy Policy.

5. Permitted and Prohibited Use

You may use the website lawfully for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not engage in unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, harassing, impersonating or misleading conduct; submit false, unauthorised or malicious material; interfere with the website, server, payment, forms, accounts or security; access, test, scrape or collect systems, content or another person's data without authority; conduct bulk automated extraction or commercial republication; bypass technical controls; or misuse promotions, bookings, credit, refunds or payment processes. We may take proportionate measures to restrict use, suspend processing, retain relevant records or make lawful reports where there are reasonable grounds to suspect illegality, fraud, security risk or a material breach.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, the PL A-VENTURE name, marks, double-arrow and red-dot design, product names, images, videos, text, graphics, layout, downloads and other website content are owned or lawfully used by PL A-VENTURE, its affiliates or licensors. Without prior written consent, you must not copy, adapt, translate, publish, sell, license, create derivative works, remove rights notices or commercially exploit them, except for limited use expressly permitted by law. A link to a public page must not suggest our endorsement, partnership or sponsorship.

7. Third-party Sites and Services

The website may link to independently operated snow venues, hotels, maps, transport, payment, insurance, social media, communications or other services. Their own terms and privacy arrangements apply. We do not control their content, availability, pricing or services, but this does not exclude responsibility that we must bear by law for a service provided or confirmed by us.

8. Availability and Security

We take reasonable steps to maintain operation and security but do not guarantee uninterrupted, delay-free, error-free or risk-free access. The website may be suspended for maintenance, updates, failures, networks, third-party platforms, legal requirements or events beyond reasonable control. Use reasonably updated and secure devices and browsers, retain important confirmations, and do not submit passport, payment or health data through an undesignated channel.

9. Scope of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or purely commercial loss arising only from general website browsing that was not directly and reasonably foreseeably caused by our breach of law or these Terms. Liability relating to a booked service, product, payment, cancellation, injury, equipment or stored property is handled under the applicable specific terms and law. Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Updates, Governing Law and Language

We may update these Terms for website, service, technical or legal reasons and publish the new version and date. Updates generally apply prospectively and do not by themselves alter an earlier service or product contract. General use of this website is governed by Japanese law and the courts of Japan have non-exclusive jurisdiction. A specific service or transaction is governed by the arrangements in its own terms. This does not deprive a user of non-excludable protection in their place of habitual residence. Chinese and English versions are provided; the English version prevails in case of inconsistency unless applicable law requires otherwise.
